  • Parent and Child Information: Parents who register accounts provide their name, email address, and details about their children, such as a profile name and avatar selection.
  • Content and Activity Data: Information submitted during learning activities, quizzes, messages, or interactions with customer support.

  • Usage Data: IP addresses, browser type, referring URLs, interactions with the Service, and login timestamps.

4. STUDENT DATA PROTECTION

When EDmama contracts with schools, we collect and process Student Data in compliance with applicable education privacy laws. Schools must obtain parental consent where required. Student Data is never used for commercial purposes.

Schools can request data access, modification, or deletion. We retain student records only as long as necessary for educational purposes, after which data is securely deleted.

5. DATA RETENTION & SECURITY

  • We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy.
  • Strong encryption, firewalls, and access controls are in place to protect user data.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining secure passwords and account access.

Despite our best efforts, no security system is impenetrable. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and authorities as required by law.

6. YOUR RIGHTS & CHOICES

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Hong Kong, China. Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be settled through binding arbitration in Hong Kong, in accordance with the rules of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-Service notifications. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
